Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy advised his elder brother HD Revanna, who is also the Public Welfare Department (PWD) minister in the State Cabinet, to control his anger.
Revanna wants to develop Hassan district within 24 hours. If this has to be realised, he needs to control his anger and should stop taking hasty decisions, said Kumaraswamy.
Kumaraswamy, at Udaypur, Channarayapatna, was addressing the public at an event. "Revanna is good from heart. But he gets angry quite often, that is one of his strong characteristics. This shadows the development he carries out. So, if he controls his anger, he can grow to newer heights," he said.
"He comes to me and demands that I release money overnight for development of Hassan. He should also understand my difficulties," he added.
Surprisingly, all this happened in the presence of Revanna sitting along with Kumaraswamy. To this advice, Revanna smiled and said, "Sure, let me see."
However, currently HD Kumaraswamy is facing criticismfor his statement of encouraging people to take to rioting, if there is an effort to destabilise his government.
BJP leader and MP Shobha Karandlaje along with a delegation visited State DGP Neelamani Raju and filed a complaint against HD Kumaraswamy for "inciting violence".
