JD(S) candidates list to be finalised by January

Synopsis

Deve Gowda said, he had won from Ramanagara to become Chief Minister. His family members also contested from Ramanagara and won. Kumaraswamy has an emotional connect with the place and it has to be decided whether he should contest from Ramanagara or some other constituency. To strengthen the Party at Booth level four rounds of tours will be conducted in the district.

"Our family has close ties with Ramanagara constituency.  Hence only after discussion it will decided from which constituency Kumaraswamy has to contest" said JD(S) National President H D Deve Gowda, reported Kannada Prabha.

Speaking to news persons Deve Gowda said, he had won from Ramanagara to become Chief Minister. His family members also contested from Ramanagara and won. Hence Kumaraswamy has an emotional connect with the place and it has to be decided whether he should contest from Ramanagara or some other constituency, he said.

To strengthen the Party at Booth level four rounds of tours will be conducted in the district. Second round of travel will be in October. Third round will be in November and third round in December. By January all constituencies will be toured. By January the list of all contestants will be released, he said.
