BJP National President Amit Shah will soon have a house in Bengaluru to make sure that the party wins the Assembly elections to be held next year. Is this the reason why Congress and JD(S) have started their poll preparations too?
His personal team has visited various places in Bengaluru but still has not zeroed in on any plot or house. However, sources have said that a villa made by one of the prestigious builders has been identified. Shah is also for having the house in proximity to the Bangalore International Airport.
Meanwhile, Congress and JD(S) also have started strategising their poll preparations. It is for the first time that all parties have started their preparations much before the elections.
Modi’s thumping win in the Uttar Pradesh where the party had started its preparation for the poll at least a year before the elections is the main reason why other parties are following the suit. Karnataka being one of the few states in the hands of Congress, there is a pressure to retain the state. JD(S) is trying hard to make its presence felt and is hoping for a comeback or at least to be the key maker.

However, it looks like the BJP has all its plans ready and as soon as Shah shifts to his Karnataka house, it will get into action.
A house in the Devanahalli locality is preferred so that Shah can travel to any place in India or even abroad with ease, as the airport is situated close by.
This house will be used by Shah till the Assembly elections. The house will have all the communication, and it will be information technology friendly. Amit Sha’s team had visited the city on Monday to finalise the place and take care of the arrangements to be done.
The idea of having the house in the outskirts came with two aims. If Shah decided to have a house in the city limits, this might lead to traffic congestion around the place due to security reasons. Thus identifying a house near to the airport will not affect traffic as well as it will be easier for Shah to travel as he cannot confine himself to one state.
It looks like the team has given its approval for the villa and now it depends on Shah himself to approve it. As soon as the house is finalised all pre-poll activities will start.
