
Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sasikumar Senthil has ordered to deport Rathnakar Shetty of Hindu Jagran Vedike and Kahleel of Popular Front of India from Kalladka for six months on charges of spoiling the religious harmony in the district.
Many incidents of violence and murder were reported from Kalladka off late. Since communal violence broke in Kalladka, a few months ago, the region has been tensed. Even after months of prohibitory orders, the situation is still tensed.
The fundamental groups of two communities are leaving no stone unturned to prove their supremacy. The constant arguments, attacks on each other has led to the tensed situation to prevail.
With especially Hindu groups threatening those planning to celebrate New Year has become a sensitive issue, the fractions are likely to escalate the situation.

Speaking to Prajavani, Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police C H Sudheer Kumar Reddy has said that both Ratnakar and Khaleel are charged in a number of criminal acts. They are on the rowdy list prepared by the Bantwal Rural Police Station.
The police department had filed an application requesting the DC to deport the two, two months ago. After proper investigation and inspection, the Deputy Commissioner has taken the decision to deport both. Accordingly, both Ratnakar and Khaleel will be sent out of the district and will not be allowed inside for six months.
