HD Kumaraswamy had commented that “socialist” Siddaramaiah wears shoes costing Rs 60,000 and he "loots" at check-posts The JD(S) leader had earlier exposed Siddaramaiah's watch Hublot that is worth Rs 80 lakh Siddaramaiah said after GST was introduced there are no check posts, where does one collect? Should nobody wear shoes? Or has nobody worn shoes till now?

“H D Kumaraswamy follows hit and run culture. I will not place much significance to that. He gives irresponsible statements,” said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reacting to the JD(S) leader's comments that the chief minister wears expensive shoes while claiming to be a socialist leader. Kumaraswamy had commented that “socialist” Siddaramaiah wears shoes costing Rs 60,000 and "loots" at check posts.

Responding to that Siddaramaiah said after GST was introduced there are no check posts, where does one collect? Should nobody wear shoes? Or has nobody worn shoes till now? Siddaramaiah retorted.
