Flipkart scam, complaint lodged against 9 contractors

Complaint lodged against 9 contractors with Flip Cart to distribute things ordered online, for cheating the company by posing as customers and taking away the products. They would book goods in various names posing as customers and when the goods were on the verge of being dispatched they would cancel the orders. The goods would be delivered but the papers would say they are not cancelled and they had cheated the Flip Cart to the tune of Rs 17 lakhs between May 15 and 23.

Complaints have been lodged against nine contractors who were on contract with Flip Cart to distribute things ordered online, for cheating the company by posing as customers and taking away the products, reported Kannada Prabha.

Flip Cart has filed complaints against Swaroop Pal, Niroy Roy, Pranab Das, Sameer Poul, Debojyothinag, Ankur Kundu, SWapan Das, Bijay Mujumdar and Pooja Majumdar. These 9 had registered with the Flip Cart company to supply goods to clients. They would book goods in various names posing as customers and when the goods were on the verge of being dispatched they would cancel the orders.

Hence the goods would be delivered but the papers would say they are not cancelled. This way they had cheated the Flip Cart to the tune of Rs 17 lakhs between May 15 and 23. Flip Cart on suspicion had investigated and found that all the orders were placed by one customer and the trader was also one company.

Based on the complaint by Flip Cart Koramanagala police station has registered cases against the 9.
