
Energy Minister DK Shivakumar who has been summoned by the Income Tax officials arrived for inquiry at the IT office on Queen's Road on Monday. Earlier, it was reported that Shivakumar had sought two days' time to reply to appear before the IT department, citing personal reasons. However, in view of no response from the IT officials, Shivakumar had no option but to face the inquiry.
The minister arrived at the IT office along with his brother and MP DK Suresh. Along with him, Dwarakanath Guruji and MLC Ravi too appeared before the IT officials, reports Suvarna News.
It may be recalled here that after the 74-hour raid on minister and his relatives, the IT officials have reportedly found Rs 300 crore undisclosed properties of which Rs 100 crore worth properties allegedly belonged to the minister. The minister on Monday is expected to face a set of questionnaire prepared by the IT department after the raid. He is also expected to provide documents in support of the properties or the papers.
