The competitive world is moving at godspeed. The internet and technology is changing mankind’s education, communication and business lives. However, there is scope for further changes. The students must relentlessly strive to bring out the hidden natural phenomenon, innovations. There are ample opportunities available to facilitate that, he said.
The second phase in a student’s life is the college education. It is here that the student’s future is shaped. The more efficient use of time the student adopts the better is his or her future.
Every second counts and must not be wasted. Study with set target, he advised. The future of our country lies in the hands of students. They say the students of R V Engineering College has 40 per cent outsiders. They must make attempts to learn about Karnataka and Bengaluru. They must adopt an attitude to give back to the State and City that has educated them, he said.
Rashtriya Education Trust president Dr Panduranga Shetty addressed the gathering and said RVEC provides all facilities to students for their overall development. Hence students from all over the country, including Jammu and Kashmir come to study at RV College. The role of faculty is very important in making RV a prestigious college. Along with quality education students are also offered extra curricular activities like music, art and sports, he said.
Old students of the college, Praveen Kumar, Anand Ratkal, Aparna, Rohit Bhupathi who performed well at 2016 UPSC examinations were felicitated on the occasion.
