Convict comes out on parole loots Rs 30 lakhs with a gang

Synopsis

Convict comes out on parole and loots Rs 30 lakhs from an office, along with a gang. The gang barged into Khyathi Steels office and took the money along with CCTV hard disk. Police check CCTV footage of adjoining buildings and arrest gang members. They reveal the master mind was Salim who had come on parole and returned to jail. Police are on the way to take him into custody and are looking for other gang members.

The Mysuru CCB Police busted a theft case and found out that the mastermind behind the theft of Rs 30 lakh was a Bengaluru based convict who had come out on parole. Salim is a convict at Hindalga jail serving life term for committing a murder.

He had come out on parole and on June 23, at around 3 pm, he, along with a gang, barged into the office of Khyathi Steel at Gokulam, brandishing lethal weapons and looted Rs 30 lakh and escaped.  He had also taken away the hard disk of the CCTV camera. A case was registered at the VV Puram police station.

The police inspected the CCTV footage of neighbouring buildings and arrested Jabbir, Zakir Pasha and Arbs Pasha in Bengaluru. When interrogated they revealed that Salim was the mastermind of the robbery.  After the robbery he has gone back to the jail. A team from the CCB has taken permission from the court and is on its way to Belagavi to take custody of Salim. The police are also searching other gang members
