Union Minister Ananthakumar Hegde has made a controversial statement that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will do anything for vote and seat, reports Kannada Prabha.

Speaking at the BJP’s Nava Karnataka Nirmana Parivarthana Yatre at Kittoor, Belagavi district, Hegde said CM has made Tipu Jayanthi a prestige issue. "Don’t know why he cannot remember other martyrs. May be in future he may hold a candle march to Kasab, Laden and Hyder Ali. This clearly shows Siddaramaiah will do anything for vote and seat," he said.

Criticising the government's soft stand on traitors, Hegde said that police officers have confirmed that four lakh Bangladesh infiltrators are in the State. but the CM is chanting Ahinda all the time and has neglected other classes. "The country with its 125 crore strength if gone to the hands of Rahul Gandhi, even the sea will not be enough to commit suicide," he ridiculed.
