Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was expected to reach his Home Office Kaveri after seeing off President Pranab Mukherjee from the HAL Airport on Sunday. However, it seems like he ditched his convoy and left for a "secret meeting".

Even as his supporters begin looking around for him, CM Siddaramaiah, Home Minister G Parameshwar and the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President are having a secret meeting on the long-pending cabinet expansion, reports Suvarna News

The channel reports that from HAL, Siddaramaiah apparently told his supporters and other leaders that he would want to have a snack and slipped into a secret eating joint on the outskirts of the city. Many of his supporters and other leaders were left waiting for the CM at Kaveri but in vain. When he did not turn up for quite some time, it had become apparent that he had given them a slip.

He is having a closed-door discussion with Parameshwar, Suvarna News quoted sources in the Congress party.
