BJP on poll mode: Yeddyurappa to lead 'Parivarthana Rally' from Nov 2

Synopsis

The Parivarthana Yatra will cover all the 224 constituencies in the state Prime Minister Narendra Modi may be present at the valedictory of the rally, say sources The Yatra will conclude on Jan 25 in Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency in Mysuru district where CM Siddaramaiah is contesting

BJP State president and party's chief ministerial candidate BS Yeddyurappa will lead 'Parivarthana Yatra' touring the State from Nov 2 to kick-start campaigning for the party. He will travel for three months across the State. The Yatra will cover all the 224 constituencies and Yeddyurappa has decided to travel from day one till the end, reports Kannada Prabha.

MP and BJP general secretary Shobha Karandlaje - the coordinator of the yatra will be travelling with him throughout. This is perhaps the first time that a State leader is travelling in one go in all the constituencies.

BJP national president Amit Shah will be inaugurating the Yatra and Modi will be present at the valedictory ceremony. The 'Parivarthana Yatra' will be flagged off by Amit Shah on Nov 2 at the International Exhibition Centre near Nelamangala on Tumakuru Road. Union Minister and State-In charge Prakash Jawadekar, Piyush Goel and other senior leaders will be present.

On the first day, the Yatra will travel through Kunigal and halt at Yediyuru. Everyday 3 to 4 legislative constituencies will be covered. The Yatra will travel through Tumakuru, Hassan, Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Belagavi, Bagalkote, Vijayapura, Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadagiri, Raichuru, Koppal, Gadag, Dharwad, Haveri, Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Davangere, Ballari, Chitradurga, Chikkaballapura, Kolar, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Ramanagara, Mandya, Chamarajanagara and end at Mysuru. As part of the Parivarthana Yatra, bike rallies will be undertaken in two phases. 

The Yatra will conclude on Jan 25 in Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency in Mysuru district where CM Siddaramaiah is contesting. On January 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi may take part in a rally to be held at Bengaluru.
