Synopsis

Namma Metro stations will close all gates 10 minutes before the last trains Last train on Green Line will leave the station at 11.25 pm At all other stations, the last train will be at 11 pm During peak hours, there will be one train every 4 minutes

Commuters taking the last train must reach the stations ten minutes early as all gates will be closed 10 minutes before the last train, announced BMRCL, reports Kannada Prabha.

The last train from Majestic on Purple Line between Byappanahalli and Nayandahalli and on the Green Line between Yelachenahalli and Nagasandra will leave the station at 11.25 pm. At all other stations, the last train will be at 11 pm. Hence commuters must reach the stations 10 minutes before the last train. Gates will not be opened after  the scheduled time.

In the morning, the trains will start running at 5 am but the gates will be opened 10 minutes before. The 5 am trains are pilot trains carrying drivers but commuters can take these trains. However, they are slow trains. Normal services will commence at 5.30 am. Encouraged by the increasing number of commuters, the BMRCL is also planning to increase the frequency of the services. BMRCL has released the time schedule of train services.
