Ambidant case: Activists demand explanations from CCB Chief, submit memo

Synopsis

Ravi Krishna Reddy an activist and founder of Lanchamukta Karnataka Nirmana Vedike and victims of Ambidant firm gave a representation to Central Crime Branch Chief Alok Kumar to demand an explanation on the curious case of investigation officer and ACP Venkatesh Prasanna who had alleged that he was transferred arbitrarily for dealing with Ambidant case.  

Ravi Krishna Reddy an activist from Lanchamukta Karnataka Nirmana Vedike gave a representation to Central Crime Branch head and Joint Commissioner of Crime, Alok Kumar to summon Venkatesh Prasanna who was the ACP with CCB and was in-charge of the Ambidant case.

The officer is said to have alleged that he was transferred because he was handling the case and had come across names of few senior officers and politicians mentioned by prime accused Fareed.

"We want truth to come out. I am not putting allegations on any officer. I have documents which state that the ACP was unhappy about being shifted from the CCB," Reddy said.
