There were rumours that Ramya had bought a house in Mandya, renovated it and had a housewarming programme too. But now the owner of the house alleged to be Ramya's has come out in the open and said that she had not brought the house.

There were rumours that Ramya would contest from Mandya and she has brought a house at Vidyanagar on KR Road. There was news of her renovating the house too.

However, now the owner of the house Sadath Ali Khan has come out in the open and has said that the house was given to Ramya on rent and that she has not brought the house. He spoke to Public TV, and OneIndia too reported that Sadath has no plans of selling it.

He is said to have told the media that the house given to Ramya on rent belongs to his father and he has emotional bonding with the house. So he will not sell it at any cost.

Ramya currently heads the national social media department of Congress party. It is said that she was eying on Lok Sabha ticket. But now the pressure on her to contest from Mandya and give a re-entry to the Karnataka politics is mounting.

Ramya buying a house becomes an important news in this regard. Whether she has a house of her own or has taken it on rent, it is likely that she might come to Mandya and if the party offers a ticket, will she contest?
