South Indian actress Sindhu Menon's mother Sridevi has been injured in an accident when the auto rickshaw she was travelling in collided with a cab at Yeshwanthpur in Bengaluru on Thursday.
Sridevi was injured, but instead of taking her to the hospital, the drivers were seen fighting on the road.
Sridevi was travelling from Matthikere to her Malleshwaram house in an autorickshaw at 2.40 pm. The auto was at the signal when a private cab rammed the halted auto rickshaw, injuring Sridevi.
Sridevi has been injured in her chest, and she had to wait for at least one hour before taking her to the hospital. Where there was no sign of the fight coming to an end, she called her son Manoj. He reached the spot and got his mother admitted at the MS Ramaiah Hospital, where she is being treated.
Sridevi along with daughter Sindhu Menon, sons Karthik and Manoj are based out of Bengaluru. Sindhu was born and brought up in the city and has acted in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies.
