Bengaluru: 13-year-old boy commits suicide by hanging

Synopsis

Depressed over the parental separation, an eighth standard student committed suicide. He committed suicide using his mother’s saree while sleeping on the swinging cot. Police found a note in his pocket in which he has written “I will come back, mother.”

Depressed over the parental separation, an eighth standard student committed suicide, on Monday at Sampangirama Nagara, reported Kannada Prabha.

Praveen Raj (13) an 8th standard student in a private school hanged himself with his mother’s saree. He was the second son of Deepa and Anand. The couple had separated recently following differences. While Praveen stayed with his mother, the elder son stayed with his father.

Deepa is employed with a saree shop. Anand works for a security agency.  Praveen was said to be depressed over the family turmoil. He was mostly alone.  He had got a swinging cot made. He committed suicide using his mother’s saree while sleeping on the swinging cot. It is said that the police found a note in his pocket in which he has written “I will come back, mother.” A case has been registered in S R Nagar police station.
