Synopsis

KSRTC announces 10-15% fare reduction on buses from Mangaluru, Udupi, and Kundapura to Bengaluru from January 5. Check revised fares for Ambari Utsav, Dream Class, Multi Axle, Sleeper, and Rajahamsa services. 

In a bid to make travel more convenient and affordable for passengers, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced a 10% to 15% reduction in fares on various types of buses operating from Kundapura, Udupi, and Mangaluru to Bengaluru. The new fares will come into effect from 5 January, according to a notification issued by the Senior Divisional Controller of Mangaluru KSRTC.

This move comes ahead of the peak travel season and aims to ease the financial burden on daily commuters, tourists, and business travellers alike. The fare revision applies across all categories of KSRTC services, including Ambari Utsav, Dream Class, Multi Axle, Non-AC Sleeper, Pallakki Non-AC Sleeper, and Rajahamsa buses.

Fare Details 

Ambari Utsav

  • Kundapura – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Kundapura: Rs. 1,510 per passenger
  • Udupi – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Udupi: Rs. 1,460 per passenger
  • Mangaluru – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Mangaluru: Rs. 1,350 per passenger

Dream Class

  • Kundapura – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Kundapura: Rs. 1,350
  • Udupi – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Udupi: Rs. 1,300
  • Mangaluru – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Mangaluru: Rs. 1,200

Multi Axle-2.0

  • Kundapura – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Kundapura: Rs. 1,310
  • Udupi – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Udupi: Rs. 1,250
  • Mangaluru – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Mangaluru: Rs. 1,150

Multi Axle

  • Kundapura – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Kundapura: Rs. 1,110
  • Udupi – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Udupi: Rs. 1,060
  • Mangaluru – Bengaluru / Bengaluru – Mangaluru: Rs. 1,000

Non-AC Sleeper

This fare revision is expected to benefit both daily commuters and long-distance travellers, providing them with a more affordable and convenient travel option while maintaining KSRTC’s quality and reliability standards.
