Delhi Daredevils all-rounder Corey Anderson pulled off a screamer against Gujarat Lions at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on Thursday. The catch could end up being the best of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017.
We have witnessed a number of amazing catches in this tournament but Anderson's one surely stands out from the others. The situation, the difficulty level and considering many other factors, one would judge this catch as one of the best of IPL 2017.
Dinesh Karthik of Gujarat Lions was scoring at the rate of knots. He was looking extremely dangerous. Anderson was stationed at mid-off. Karthik tried to hit one over Anderson but ended up mistiming the ball and Anderson timed his jump to perfection to pull off that scintillating catch.
