SRK even ready to sell his pants to bag MS Dhoni for KKR

Synopsis

Rising Pune Supergiant and Gujarat Lions will be defunct from IPL 2018.  Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will make a comeback next year.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises will be put up for auction again in 2018 and we can expect that the existing team owners are not going to let go off their teams. Two teams will go defunct from the next edition of IPL - Rising Pune Supergiant and Gujarat Lions.

This is because Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will make a comeback to the IPL after serving two years of suspension. However, if BCCI and the IPL Governing Council decide to make it a 10-team affair, then they will continue to stay.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has said that if the Supergiant goes defunct, then he will go all out to bring MS Dhoni in Kolkata Knight Riders camp. Harsh Goenka, one of the owners of the Supergiant had criticised Dhoni and the fans bashed the owner on Twitter. SRK knows the importance of having Dhoni in one's side and therefore he stated that he is even ready to sell off his pants to bring the former Indian captain to KKR.

“I’m ready to purchase Dhoni even if it means selling off my pyjama, but he never appears under the hammer in IPL auctions,” SRK said.
