Highlights
  • The Aussies are infamous for their aggression on the field.
  • David Warner proved that fact wrong with this class act on Monday.

The game between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) went down to the wire. SRH treated the fans with a nail-biting finish to the game as they won it by just five runs. SRH might have won the match and earned two important points but one man won the hearts of all the fans - Manan Vohra.

Chasing down a decent target of 160 runs, KXIP kept on losing wickets but Vohra stood tall on one end of the wicket and fought like a gladiator. His innings of 95 runs from 50 balls managed to impress the SRH skipper David Warner and Yuvraj Singh.

After Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed Vohra and sealed the game for SRH, Warner and Yuvraj ran up to Vohra and congratulated him for playing a blinder of a knock against them. He could not take his side over the line but Warner and Yuvraj's gesture might have made him feel a lot better.
