Shocking: These Indian players are likely to miss IPL 2017!

Synopsis

Ashwin underwent scans after the 4th Test match against Australia in Dharamsala. Vijay on the other hand, need more time to recover from his shoulder injury.

The number of players who have pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 can possibly form an injured XI. Adding salt to the wounds of the Indian cricket fans, Ravichandran Ashwin and Murali Vijay are likely to miss the IPL 2017 as well.

Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav are also going to miss initial matches of IPL 2017. This is not good news for their respective sides. Now the injured list of Indian players looks like this – Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Murali Vijay and KL Rahul. Jadeja and Umesh had a tiring home season, thus reports are suggestive of the fact that they are going to rest for some more time before they join their respective sides.

Ashwin underwent scans after the 4th Test match against Australia in Dharamsala. Vijay on the other hand, need more time to recover from his shoulder injury. This could work as a precautionary measure as the ICC Champions Trophy will start just 11 days after the IPL 2017.

The team managements will have to find replacements to fill in these huge shoes. Most of the teams have been hurt with this injury list and now they have a huge task up their sleeves.
