KXIP vs MI: Maxwell's Punjab run into Rohit's juggernaut - Likely XIs

Synopsis

Kings XI Punjab have lost their last three matches in IPL 2017.  Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have four matches on the bounce.

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will play their last Indore game on Thursday against an in-form Mumbai Indians (MI). Glenn Maxwell's side has lost three matches on the trot and they are in all sorts of trouble. Now they will have to face one of the stiffest tests of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they run into the Mumbai Indians juggernaut.

Maxwell did start off the tournament with some runs under his belt but has gone out of form in the last three matches. Eoin Morgan, David Miller and Marcus Stoinis are yet to fire in IPL 2017 as well. The only player to show consistency is Hashim Amla.

Manan Vohra almost won them the previous match with his incredible innings of 95 runs. But that will not be enough. If KXIP wants to achieve positive results and turn the wheels of fortune, then everyone has to chip in from all the departments.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians have played some exquisite cricket. They are unlikely to make any changes to his playing XI as they seemed to have struck the right balance chord in IPL 2017 and are looking extremely dangerous.
