It will be really interesting to see how the teams will line up for the 10th edition of the IPL which will start from April 5, 2017. A number of players will not be available for the entire season of IPL 10.
IPL 2017 auction was an accelerated affair as only 66 players were bought by the eight franchises on Monday. Only a handful of players went beyond the ₹ 1 crore-mark and the rest of the cricketers were bought for bargain prices.
Now the litmus test for all the 8 skippers of the respective franchises will happen when they will sit down with coaches and the think tanks to select their best XI for the IPL 2017 matches. They will not have much time as IPL requires a lot of travelling and teams tend to get wear out most of the time because of the tight schedule.
