IPL 2017
Delhi Daredevils are looking at yet another challenging season of Indian Premier League (IPL). They finished at the 6th spot in the IPL 2016 points table and they would want to pick themselves up from there and come up with a stronger show in IPL 2017.
The veteran Indian seamer Zaheer Khan will lead Delhi Daredevils in the 10th edition of the IPL and he has a huge task up his sleeve. Quinton de Kock and JP Duminy have already been ruled out of IPL 2017 – the former due to injury and the latter due to personal reasons. The Daredevils are yet to announce any replacements for these two talented South African players.
Delhi Daredevils mentor Rahul Dravid has already mentioned that it was a huge blow for them to lose out on De Kock and Duminy at the same time. Corey Anderson and Angelo Mathews are not 100 percent fit and as a result, their bench strength will be tested in IPL 2017.
However, they still have a decent squad to come up with a better all-round show in the T20 extravaganza. It will be interesting to see how they fair during the 10th edition of the IPL.
