IPL 2017: Believe it or not, RCB still have a chance of making it to the playoffs

RCB so far have lost eight games and they still have three more matches to play.  Virat Kohli and his men in red have had a woeful IPL 2017. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore - The name might sound royal but there was nothing royal about their performance in this 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Virat Kohli and co. were simply outclassed and outplayed by almost all the opponents quite comprehensively in every occasion. 

It has indeed been a woeful tournament for RCB as their toothless performances hurt them big time. Captain Kohli tried his best to get things going but it did not help much. It is almost like a pattern they have followed. Be it while chasing or batting first, their batsmen fell like nine pins in almost every game apart from one or two matches. 

However, believe it or not, RCB still have a faint chance of making it to the IPL 2017 playoff stages. If they do, it will be nothing less than a miracle. In that case, Kohli should consider him as the luckiest man on the planet.

Here are the scenarios:

## RCB will have win all their remaining three matches. Winning them will not be sufficient, as they will have to win by handsome margins as well.

## Rising Pune Supergiant will have to lose all their remaining matches. If RPS gets the better of Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday evening, then it will be the final nail in the coffin of RCB.

## Gujarat Lions will need to win two out of their remaining four matches.

## Kings XI Punjab will have to win one out of their remaining five matches.

## Finally, RCB would want Delhi Daredevils to win three out of their remaining five matches.
