The clip, shared on X by @pallvika, was posted with the caption "Naari Shakti ka Naman," seemingly highlighting the women's determination.

While some users praised the women for their courage and dedication to work, others argued that such scenes should not be celebrated as examples of resilience. They said the focus should be on improving Mumbai's public transport infrastructure.

One user praised the women's determination, writing, "I like the inner strength of the Girls all are examples for a Man to work Hard. If they can do why can't others. See the dedication of these Girls going for work may be meger pays but confidence, courage, honesty, sincerity is flowing out from them. Risking their life."

Another questioned whether the situation should be viewed as bravery at all, saying, "Is this bravery or foolishness cant say because if any accident would happen the same person would have tagged with 'what a foolishness by a mumbai lady.' Mumbai railway network need to improve a lot to fulfill mumbaikar need."

A third user criticised the tendency to portray such risky journeys as a symbol of Mumbai's spirit. "Salute 😲 The dead railway system never thinks to ensure their commuter safety! The dumb peoples call it as Spirit of Mumbai instead of demanding right railway infrastructure over safety!" the user said.
