The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the house of a businessman in Kolkata in the coal smuggling case at 7 am on Friday (February 26).
The CBI raided the house of Randhir Barnwal, a businessman from Banshdroni in South Kolkata. The office of the businessman was also searched by the Central Investigation Agency.
There are allegations against Randhir for spending huge amount of money in the market. According to CBI sources, he used to keep money from influential people.

It is to be mentioned that the CBI raided the house of Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee recently.
On the other hand, the ED raided Asansol, including Kolkata, on Friday morning in relation to the coal smuggling case.
