Viral video: Here's why a Telangana woman cop’s humanitarian act is earning her praises

Synopsis

After a police personnel's humanitarian act during COVID enforced lockdown, now a woman constable is receiving a lot of praise for helping a young mother and her 15-day old daughter who were found on the road.  

Feeding a stranger and a 15-day-old baby found on the roadside is not a common sight.

But a Telangana woman cop has now become a sensation after images of her feeding a 19-year-old mother and her 15-day-old child went viral.

The lady constable, identified as B Rajya, attached to Moghalpura Police Station in Hyderabad, was on beat when she spotted the homeless woman and her daughter.

The lady took her to the police station and fed her with her hands and as she found her to be weak and in a state of shock. The cop also fed the child with a mixture of milk powder.

After this image surfaced on the media, the act of the cop went viral and she has been receiving a lot of praise from her superiors.

The woman, Sana Banu and her daughter have been sent to an orphanage.
