Vasundhara Raje on Rajasthan crisis: ‘Unfortunate that people are paying for Congress discord’

Synopsis

'It is unfortunate that the people of Rajasthan are paying for the discord within the Congress,' former chief minister Vasundhara Raje said

Jaipur: After remaining silent amid the Rajasthan Congress government's feud between chief minister Ashok Gehlot and his former deputy Sachin Pilot, BJP leader Vasundhara Raje expressed her concern for the people of the state.

"It is unfortunate that the people of Rajasthan are paying for the discord within the Congress," former chief minister Vasundhara wrote on Twitter on Saturday (July 18) in her first reaction on the political crisis in the state.

"There is no point in trying to drag the BJP and the BJP leaders’ names through the mud. It is the interest of our people that must remain paramount," she added.
