A major accident occurred on Wednesday at the Chait Barni Fair in Kushinagar's Khadda area when a swing ride collapsed while in operation, leaving several people injured. The injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for medical care, and relief and rescue operations are underway.

MLA Confirms Incident, Assures Medical Aid

Speaking to ANI, Khadda MLA Vivekanand Pandey confirmed the incident and said that authorities are ensuring immediate medical attention for all affected individuals. "...Reports have been received regarding an accident at the fair, in which a swing has collapsed. All affected individuals have been transported to the hospital, "Pandey told ANI.

He added that efforts are being made to provide proper treatment to those whose injuries are minor locally, while those requiring advanced care are being referred to the District Hospital. "Those whose conditions can be treated locally are receiving care right here, while some are being referred to the District Hospital. Officials are making every possible effort to ensure that proper medical treatment is provided," Pandey said.

The MLA also expressed his concern for the well-being of the victims and offered prayers for their speedy recovery. "We pray to God that everyone recovers quickly," he added.

Rescue Operations and Investigation Underway

Police and district administration teams rushed to the spot immediately after the accident. Relief and rescue operations are ongoing, and officials are taking all necessary measures to ensure safety and provide timely medical care.

The cause of the swing's collapse is being investigated, and authorities have urged fair-goers to cooperate with rescue teams.

Emergency services, including medical and fire personnel, were deployed promptly to contain the situation and assist the injured. (ANI)
