Shashi Tharoor tweeted a photo of Gautama Buddha to wish his followers on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. Twitterati went hysterical on seeing the faux pas, with many users giving Tharoor a taste of his own sarcastic medicine. Former diplomat and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor got schooled by Twitterati on Thursday after he committed a sensational gaffe on his Twitter handle. 

Tharoor tweeted a photo of Gautama Buddha to wish his followers on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the most revered festival of the Jain community.
