Synopsis

On National Unity day which also happens to be Sardar Vallabhai Patel's birth anniversary, archived pictures of former deputy Prime Minister went social from the President's Twitter handle, Rashtrapati Bhavan.

New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind, himself signed the posts, though his secretariat manages his profile.

Since morning, Rashtrapati Bhavan archives took a full swing to upload pictures of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with his acquaintances during his tenure.

Few of the posts among others mentioned as, "Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel calling on Governor-General C. Rajagopalachari at the Government House, New Delhi on March 31, 1949".

"The Governor-General Shri C. Rajagopalachari with Deputy Prime Minister of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Government House, New Delhi on April 28, 1949".

And these posts were retweeted by the President.
