Rozgar Mela: 51,000 appointment letters distributed nationwide in Delhi

Around 51,000 appointment letters were distributed at a Rozgar Mela in Delhi. PM Modi virtually addressed the event, congratulating the new recruits and urging them to serve the nation as 'Karmayogis' to help fulfil the vision of a developed India.

A Rozgar Mela was organised at the Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi, where nearly 51,000 appointment letters were distributed nationwide to selected candidates. Commerce and Industry Ministry Piyush Goyal and Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh attended the event.

PM Modi Virtually Addresses New Recruits

Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the programme virtually and extended his congratulations and motivational message to the newly recruited candidates across the country. Prime Minister said that the Rozgar Mela is an important initiative aimed at empowering the youth of the country with new opportunities. Attending the event virtually being held in different states, he said that young people taking up responsibilities in sectors such as banking, railways, defence, education and other departments would play a key role in fulfilling the vision of a developed India.

"Amidst this campaign of policies and decisions, you must remember one more thing. The true strength of any system is its people... Government jobs are a means to make people's lives easier. Whatever department you work in, your behaviour, sensitivity, and work ethic will be of great importance. Therefore, every young 'Karmayogi' should see their work as ongoing," he said.

Prime Minister Modi praised the hard work and dedication of the youth and said that behind every success lies the contribution of family, society and citizens of the country. He urged the newly appointed candidates to continue learning new technologies and serve the nation with honesty, dedication and responsibility.

'World is Excited About India's Youth': PM Modi

Referring to his recent foreign visits, the Prime Minister said that countries across the world are highly optimistic about India's youth and technological progress. He highlighted major agreements signed with nations such as the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Italy in areas including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, green technology, defence and advanced manufacturing, which are expected to create new employment opportunities for Indian youth.

PM Modi said, "I just returned from a trip to five countries two days ago. It was only a five-nation trip, but during this time, I spoke, had detailed discussions, and met with leaders of major companies from dozens of countries, and I felt one thing in common everywhere: The world is very excited about India's youth and India's technological progress."

Candidates Express Gratitude and Joy

Candidates who received appointment letters also shared their experiences and happiness during the event. Jagmohan Singh Pawar from Uttarakhand, selected as a Junior Engineer in Northern Railway, said that his "dream had finally come true after years of struggle and hard work." He credited his family and teachers for supporting him throughout the journey.

Suhail Tomar from Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, who was appointed as Junior Engineer Civil in the Delhi Division, said that success comes through discipline, hard work and consistency.....He thanked the Prime Minister, his teachers and mentors for inspiring him.

Suhani, who was appointed as a Technician in Northern Railway, described receiving the government job appointment letter as a "proud and emotional moment." She encouraged youth to continue working hard and remain alert for opportunities.

Another candidate from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, Abhinav Mishra, said that despite facing several challenges in life, hard work and self-confidence helped him achieve success. He advised aspirants to strengthen their basics, revise regularly and stay focused on their goals. (ANI)
