Four Defence Corridors Approved for Maharashtra

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved all four defence cooridors proposed by him in Pune, Nashik, Ahmednagar and Nagpur.

Addressing at the inauguration of NIBE Group's defence manufacturing facility in Shirdi, CM Fadnavis said, "I had requested 4 defence corridors in Pune, Nashik, Ahmednagar, and Nagpur. I am happy to say that my request was immediately approved by Raksha Mantri Rajnath ji. Soon all these defence corridors will be fully functional. This plant bags over 5,000 crore rupees investment, and it will have employment generation capacity for 4,000 people"

NIBE Defence Facility to Boost Security, Exports

He further said that NIBE Defence facility in Shirdi is equipped with "state-of-the-art" technologies. "The shells and artillery which will be produced here will be used on all our borders wherever they are needed. This facility at Shirdi is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We cannot reveal all the technologies here, but I can tell you we have all the abilities which we need in the coming time for our enemies. We are sure that this facility will make our country more secure, and it will boost our export power with immense capacity," said Fadnavis.

Indigenous Technology's Prowess Highlighted

Reflecting on the success of Operation Sindoor, CM Fadnavis said, "We need a lot of seaplanes, and it's a very popular kind of technology, and this will be manufactured here. We saw during Operation Sindhu also how our indigenous technologies brought Pakistan to its knees. I am not taking names of the countries whose technology was being used by Pakistan, and we destroyed each of them without even landing on India's land. This is the level of perfection and precision of our technology in the defence sector."

India Building 'Fortress of Self-Reliance': Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the NIBE Group's defence manufacturing facility in Shirdi. Addressing the gathering, Rajnath Singh said that this is the land of Shivaji, and inspired by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, India is building a "fortress of self-reliance" in the defence sector here.

"After seeing this facility, I can say with certainty that no power in the world can stop India from becoming the world's largest exporter in the defence sector in next 25-30 years. Today, a golden chapter is being written in India's defence and space sectors," he said. (ANI)
