Narain Karthikeyan inaugurates India's first spa for transgenders

India gets its first spa and salon for transgenders in Coimbatore. The one of a kind unisex salon which boasts exclusive, luxurious rooms for transgenders was inaugurated by Ace Formula Driver Narain Karthikeyan and Tamil film actor Sethuraman on Monday.
The director of Luxx Spa and Salon, J Shivaprakash said that the main motive to start this initiative was to make people more aware about transgenders and to accept them the way they are without discriminating against them.
"At a time when the transgenders are marginalised in the society, we are trying to reach out to them out of humanity," he told reporters.
