21-year-old aspiring air hostess was stabbed multiple times by a man during an argument. The accused is absconding, and the police force is checking his call detail records. The nearby CCTV footage shows accused and the victim talking to each other.

A 21-year-old aspiring air hostess was critically injured on Wednesday by a man in full public view in Mansarovar Park area of Shahdara. She was allegedly stabbed multiple times by a man during an argument, police said.

The woman is currently undergoing treatment at a city hospital, where her condition is stated to be critical, they said, adding that the 22-year-old accused, Adil is absconding and a manhunt has been launched to arrest him.

Locals informed the police and rushed her to a hospital. The call detail records of the victim is being scanned to get any clue about the accused.

According to the police sources, the CCTV footage shows Adil and the victim talking to each other. But the footage of multiple stabbing has not been recorded. The incident took place in a busy market area where there are many shops.

Meanwhile, victim’s family were unable to share details about why Adil attacked their daughter. However, it is suspected that Adil might have harassed the woman, police said.
