Karnataka rains: Yellow alert for seven districts, Bengaluru to be pleasant

Bengaluru: As per the latest forecasts, scattered to widespread rains are likely to continue in the first week of November in Karnataka.

With the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has kept both subdivisions of coastal and south interior Karnataka under ‘yellow watch’ from Wednesday to Friday.

Yellow watch urges residents to be updated about the possible adverse weather conditions in the region.

Widespread rains are forecast across coastal Karnataka, scattered, light to moderate rainfall is forecast across south interior Karnataka from Tuesday to Friday.

A yellow alert has been placed particularly over the districts of Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Kodagu, and Shivamogga.

Bengaluru is likely to remain cloudy over the next 48 hours with foggy or misty morning hours. The pleasant weather conditions over the garden city will continue throughout the week with temperatures ranging from 19 to 30 degree Celsius.

A few spells of rain or thundershowers are forecast over Bengaluru between Tuesday and Saturday, especially during the evening hours.
