Public free to kill those committing crimes: Haryana DGP

Synopsis

So next time you see a woman being harassed, just kill the guy, says Haryana’s Director General of Police.  In a video uploaded by ANI, KP Singh- Haryana’s Director General of Police was seen addressing people that though the police is very much out there trying their best to save lives and restore safety, the general public should also understand its ‘duty’. He said that a common man has every right to kill a person seen committing heinous crimes.

According to Singh, if someone is trying to kill you or if you see a woman being insulted or harassed or if someone is trying to burn your house or shop, you are allowed to kill him.

Past incidents of mob justice and mob lynching has never ceased to shock the nation and then we have Singh encouraging the public of Haryana to just kill criminals if the police forces fail to turn up on time.
