Haryana has signed investment MoUs worth Rs 66,870 crore across industrial infrastructure, data centres, global capability centres (GCCs), renewable energy and other sectors as the state steps up preparations for the Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2027.
Speaking during the first roadshow here, Saini said the state government had held discussions with investors and invited businesses to participate in the upcoming event. He said more than 20 company representatives participated in a roundtable discussion on investment opportunities in Haryana.
"After this, for investment in Haryana, we have also signed MOUs of Rs. 66,870 crore with various companies," Saini said.
Of the proposed investments, around Rs 20,000 crore is committed towards industrial infrastructure, while approximately Rs 10,000 crore is for data centres. Another Rs 8,200 crore has been earmarked through MoUs for GCCs, around Rs 7,000 crore for renewable energy and approximately Rs 5,000 crore for what the Chief Minister described as creating a positive environment in Haryana.
Saini said the state government's focus was on converting investment commitments into projects. "Our government believes not in file movement but in project movement," he said, underlining the administration's emphasis on execution of investment proposals. (ANI)
