Synopsis

Kaliko Pul, the former chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh was found dead at his residence Pul had to resign from the post after the Supreme Court restored Nabam Tuki's Congress government in the state

Former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Kalikho Pul was found dead at his residence on Tuesday. According to media reports, he was found hanging at his official residence in Itanagar.

 

Pul was appointed as the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh on February 19, 2016.He served for four-and-a half months after which the Supreme Court restored former chief minister Nabam Tuki's Congress government in the state.

 

This move came as a huge set back for the leader. Kalikho Pul was only 47.
