Synopsis

A cricket match between local teams in a village near Kolar on Bengaluru outskirts turned ugly after two players collided head-on while trying to take a catch.


Bengaluru: Cricket is always entertaining, but in some case, it turns violent when players clash and suffer injuries. In case of the Dhoni Cup organised by Srinivaspura villagers in Kolar, two players collided head-on and are said to be critical.

The match was organised by Somyajalahalli youths in Srinivaspura taluk today and some local channels were hired for coverage. The match between Raising Stars and SAS cricketers was organised today.

As the batsman hit the ball, the two fielders who went to take the catch, but collided head-on and collapsed on the ground.

The injured were taken to hospital. The video of the collision is now going viral.
