According to the State Health Bulletin on Friday (October 30), the number of people infected with COVID in a single day in Kolkata is 880. The number of infected in North 24 Parganas has decreased slightly. 866 people were infected in a single day in North 24 Parganas. However, once again, Kolkata tops the list.
Meanwhile, 3,979 people were infected in Bengal in one day. According to the State Health Bulletin on Friday (October 30), 59 people died in a single day in the state. Out of the 59 deaths, 18 are from Kolkata and 18 from North 24 Parganas. So far, a total of 6,784 people died in West Bengal due to COVID-19.

However, a total of 36,999 active cases are reported in the state. A total of 3,25,888 people has recovered and returned home from hospital. However, the recovery rate has increased to 88.16 percent.
