A journalist working with Hindi daily 'Dainik Bhaskar' attempted suicide by jumping off the fourth floor of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi

New Delhi: A journalist who tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) has attempted suicide in All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS). The 34-year-old journalist tried to suicide from jumping off the fourth floor of the hospital in Delhi.

According to reports, the man is in the ICU and is said to be serious.

The man works with Hindi daily 'Dainik Bhaskar'.

Sources said that the man got panicked after his test results came positive. He had reportedly sent “sad” messages to his friends and colleagues.

He lives with his wife and two daughters in northeast Delhi.
