Mystery has surrounded renowned fashion designer Sharbari Datta’s death. After examination, doctors claimed that there was blood on the side of her body in the bathroom. A scar on the side of her ear was also found. The homicide branch is investigating the complex mystery of her death.
Kolkata: Renowned fashion designer Sharbari Datta (63) was found dead inside a bathroom at her residence in South Kolkata’s Broad Street at around 11:30 pm on Thursday (September 17). The news of her demise shocked showbiz fraternity and her fans.
Rumors are being spread regarding the mysterious death of renowned fashion designer Sharbari Datta. Her body is kept in the NRS hospital for autopsy.
Police said that the body was found in the washroom of her residence at Broad Street, a posh residential colony in south Kolkata around 11:30 pm. After discovering Datta’s body, family members called up the family physician who advised them to inform the police.

According to sources, Sharbari Datta’s body was brought home with the permission of the police.
Amalin Datta, son of Sharbari Datta said, “I had last seen my mother on Wednesday (September 16). I didn’t see her throughout Thursday (September 17). I thought she was busy and had gone out for work. It is nothing unusual. Both of us remain so busy that we don’t get to meet every day.”
Sharbari Dutt used to take many kinds of medicines for a long time. The doctor said that there was blood on the side of her body in the bathroom. However, it was not known how long the body was lying in the bathroom.
The doctors also mentioned that there was a scar on the side of her ear. However, Sharwari's daughter-in-law claimed that she had been taking hormonal drugs for a long time, for which the blood was flowing rapidly in the bathroom.
The homicide branch is investigating the complex mystery of her death. Sharbari’s death has cast a shadow of mourning over the entire fashion industry.
