Blind minor girl raped by blind teachers in Gujarat

After class 8, the minor girl had taken admission in another school to learn music. She stayed in the school hostel as her village was far from the school. According to reports, the girl had been raped several times over the last four months in the classroom. 

A blind girl in Gujarat was allegedly raped by two blind teachers in a school run by a private trust in the temple town of Ambaji. The accused are identified as 62-year-old Chaman Thakor and 30-year-old Jayanthi Thakor. 

The incident came to light, after the 15-year-old girl refused to return to school after vacation. When her family members questioned her on the reason, she revealed the brutal incident she had to undergo.

After class 8, the girl had changed schools to learn music. She had been staying in the school hostel as her village was far away from the school. According to reports, the girl had been raped several times over the last four months in the classroom. 

After the girl's family members lodged a complaint with police, the school management dismissed both teachers.

 The accused are absconding.
