Amitabh Bachchan accused of hurting Hindu sentiments? Here's what you need to know

An FIR has been lodged against Kaun Banega Crorepati makers and the host Amitabh Bachchan for hurting religious Hindu sentiments. Here's what you need to know.  

A BJP MLA has filed a complaint against the Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) team at the Latur Police station. 

In the written complaint to Latur police, Abhimanyu Pawar said that Amitabh Bachchan had asked a question in KBC's episode which was aired on Sony TV.

He also alleged that the four options of the question belonged to the scriptures associated with Hinduism. If their intention was correct, they should have named different religious texts in the four alternatives. Still, only Hindu religious texts were mentioned in the options which hurts the sentiments of Hindu as they tried to create a distance between Hindus and Buddhists. He believes it is done was a part of a conspiracy.

Latur Police have accepted the written complaint but no FIR has been filed.
