After Amazon, Australia wildfire, forest fire in India’s Susunia Hill

Synopsis

After Amazon wildfire, forest fire in Susunia Hill grabbed attention triggering concern. On Tuesday night, the hill caught fire. The fire engine rushed to control the situation.

Kolkata: When the world is fighting against coronavirus, it seems another major problem has triggered concern - forest fire at Susunia Hill. On Tuesday night, the hills caught fire. One fire engine reached the spot, but failed to control the situation.

Some of the locals claimed the fire was Man-made, deliberate attempt to ruin the place. A lit cigar on a dry leaf is enough to cause such an incident, they added. The police have begun the investigation. But the pain point in this situation is the state of animals in the jungle.

A video of the forest fire is already going viral where two men are seen trying to extinguish the flames with the help of giant leaves. Netizens fear the situation might turn into what happened at Amazon and Australia.
