
The Union Government has declared that henceforth families of those who are killed in cross border tensions will be compensated with ₹5 lakh.
The compensation limit has been raised from the existing ₹3 lakh cut to ₹5 lakh.

The Home ministry has revealed that those who above 50% physical disabilities are entitled for ₹5 lakh compensation. But authorities had ruled out any assurance of providing a government job to the aggrieved family members.
