Synopsis


The OLA cab service has launched a new 'lux' category in its mobile application that will allow commuters to book luxury cars such as Jaguar, Mercedes, Audi and BMW.
 

The new service has already been launched in Mumbai with a minimum fare of ₹200, and the travel tariff is expected to be ₹19/km, according to a report in DNA.

 

The new service will now be extended to Bengaluru and Delhi. 

 

"With Ola Lux, available in the city, we expect to address the unmet needs of these users who demand unmatched style and comfort, at the touch of a button," OLA Chief Marketing Officer of Raghuvesh Sarup was quoted as saying by DNA.

 

The payment options for the new feature remain the same, which means commuters can make the payment via OLA money.

 

OLA will also provide the 'Auto Connect to WiFi' that will allow a person on board get online in the cab. As of now, this feature is limited only to the Prime and Luxury cabs.
